How many ways do you think you can eat ‘tau foo far’? Well many apparently… I was at Curve last yesterday with my Mom and Caitlyn when we chanced upon this store that sells soy bean milk and ‘tau foo far’. I’m usually not the soya bean kinda person but what caught my attention was the way she served her soy bean milk and ‘tau foo far’. Amongst the many varieties that you can choose from are soy bean milk with chewy pearl beads inside (this is kinda like the bits that you find in those taiwanese pearl milk teas),the green stuff in cendols…Then there’s the ‘tau foo far’ … You can choose from ‘tau foo far’ with lychee (Mommy Jazzmint can take Faythe, I remember she likes :P ), sea coconut and white fungus, cincau, red bean, tong yuen, chocolate chip (yes..you read it right) and many more. I tried the one with sea coconut and white fungus, not too bad. A chage from having boring ‘tau foo far’ just plain. But why this store deserves a post in my blog is because I personally have to give it to this lady for being innovative enough to come up with something like that… taking something that has been around forever like ‘tau foo far’ and putting a twist to it. I thinks that’s great. Do stop by her stall if you are at Curve/Ikano for a bowl of her ‘tau foo far’.
