Ultra Cool Mama

Day before yesterday Greg was night stopping in Melbourne, it was also our 6th year anniversary… He called me up (I thought he was gonna wish me Happy Anniversary) but instead told me that the health authorities are coming over to our apartment to do a health screen on us because the flight that he was operating on the day before had a confirmed case of the H1N1 flu..  I was about to go out for Vyktore’s (Jazzmint’s son) birthday party. I wasn’t suppose to go because I thought Greg and I will be going out that day, but he had to work instead. So I thought I’ll surprise Jazzmint but guess I’m the one surprised lah.  

So we waited at home, don’t know what’s gonna happen and worried also lah.. What a way to spend our anniversary and Greg was not around. So I cheekily send him a “BTW… Happy Anniversary!”

And he called back a few minutes later to tell me that they mixed up the documents with another flight. The passenger is not from his flight…. … and Happy Anniversary. 

Funny! But it was not then… 

Then today he arrived home from Perth… we were all suppose to attend his cousin brother’s 51 birthday party. But he called to inform that his flight is quarantined because 3 of the crew on his flight was operating on the flight which they mistook to be Greg’s melbourne flight… WTF?!  So he missed the birthday party too.. Later he called that he is clear but his 3 crew members had to be house quarantined for 7 days. 

So we have not actually celebrated our Anniversary yet… And so, that why I have not blogged about it. It’s been a whole lot of H1N1 flu scare around here…
