Some update on our puppy Bijou… She has actually gotten quite big now, so I really don’t think she is ‘really’ a miniature schnauzer (like what I was told by the owner of the pet shop) But really… how do we know and how do you gauge how small or big a ‘miniature’ dog is suppose to be? You’ll only know when you’ve had them for awhile and notice that they can’t stop growing… and till then, it’s not like you are going to return them to the shop just because they are not as small as you expect them to be… 
Anyway… Bijou has gotten quite at home with us now. For the first week she was actually quite quiet and demure…. But now she is like a different dog! 
She SO playful and energetic! And she has a thing for rubber door stoppers!! I’ve bought her a chew toy which she loves but it’s nothing compare to the door stopper… It did drive me up the wall when I can’t find it but now I have somehow just surrendered. I suppose she is just like a kid… also very ‘manja’. She has also learn to crawl out of the apartment through the grill. Which makes me a bit worried incase somebody might just kidnap her but she can find her way back. Today I thought he was missing because I can’t find her… but guess where I found her?
Safe hiding place
Under our rattan Ikea rocking chair… I guess it a safe hiding spot to go unnoticed and stay out of trouble from the kids. Coz when the kids starts playing with her and things gets a bit crazy and Bijou jumps on them… guess who gets the heat?
She has also somehow, became a Manchester United supporter… Guess who’s influence lah..

No!!! I’m not preggars, if that’s what you all are thinking. I’m so sorry to disappoint some of you. And I know my Mom would rather that then what you are about to see.
We have a puppy!! So here… meet Bijou. She is a mini schaunzer, 3 months old.
Bijou
It’s she a cutie? The kids just luuurrves her!! Well look at her, what’s not to love? Actually we’ve (not Greg) been pining for a puppy for a long, long time. Even Cait loves animals, and whenever she sees a pup she is all gooey and excited. There’s one time she even sang to a pup that was at our next table at lunch. Amazing! Now she has her own pup to sing to, which she is yet to do. But, she has been hugging Bijou like she is one of her soft toy. She even attempted to carry Bijou like her soft toy dog that her Kung-Kung gave her for Christmas as a stand-in till we can get a real one.
As for Aiden, he actually wished for a puppy for Christmas but he didn’t put it in his list as he thought that he was only allowed one item. But it was one of the things that he wanted.. but Daddy seems to think that it’s my idea more then his. 
Yes, I have to admit that I do want a pup badly but I did not instigate my son into it. If only I had that sort of power over him… 
I’ll be screaming a lot less at him.
So, from reading this blog so far, I guess you all would have gathered so much that Daddy had nothing to do with the existence of Bijou in this household… (Greg didn’t allow us to get a pup) In fact he was in Brisbane when we went to get Bijou. He only met her today when he came home and I he was not happy at all… He is worried about ‘space’ issue. So he wanted to wait till we have a house, as in like a landed property to get our pup. But in the end I Daddy soften up and made friends with Bijou.. maybe because he saw how much the kids loves her… ;-)
Today we took Bijou to the park at our apartment for her to do her poop.. She was too busy chasing the kids around And she refuse to walk on her own… How le? Now I have another baby to look after. It’s been awhile since I have a puppy since my last one, that was before I even got married. I miss Belle so much… I couldn’t take her along to my MIL’s as they have a cat. Then when my Grandma was babysitting her, she was stolen. I wonder if she is still around… I figured that horrible person who stole her must loves dogs or else wouldn’t steal rite?
