Send Them 2 Heaven

Send Them 2 Heaven

Journalling reads:

You are such a little monster!! You caught some fishes in a stream where we were having a picnic one day with our friends… When were about to leave, Uncle Poh San asked you to release the fishes back into the stream but you refused… Instead you whacked them onto a rock and they were DEAD!! We were so upset with you… I was super upset with you and asked you why did you do it (2 innocent fishes had to die for nothing!!) And you said, “ I want to send them to heaven…” Mommy was totally speechless and was very sad.. Later that day we had a conversation with you about how precious life is… I hope you remember that lesson.

Please bare with me… I actually have so many photos to scrap, I just have to find the time!!

Last week we went picnic in Kiara Park. Actually it was kinda like we mommies were kinda guilty we didn’t do anything special or holiday during the school holidays so we decided to take the kiddies for a picnic. Actually that was really my reason otherwise I would never be caught doing something like that with the 3 of them without Greg being around… It’s like standing in the middle of the highway with a death wish! But I thought it should be ok with the maid, Pat, Hooi Min, Poh San and my mom.

So when we were there, of course the kids wanna go catch fishes in the stream… and this is what my master Tan did lah!! **pengsan** The best part is the answer he gave me lah… I was totally speechless… On one hand it;s kinda funny but on the other hand it’s really not, it’s cruel :-( When we explained it to him at the park he laughed and can give a few karatae chop summore!! **lagi pengsan**

So in the end I waited for Greg to come home from flight to speak to him about it. Maybe he’ll do a better job. And I hope little master Tan now understands the value of life. The next time we go back to Kiara Park, we better buy some baby fishes to ‘fong sang’ release back into the stream… karma…

Aiden the Mohawk

Mohawk

Check out my little cool dude man!! Aiden really looks cool in any hairstyles.. He has always love to wear his hair in the funkiest styles, but this one really tops it ALL off lah! I guess being a kid also helps… he is not shy when it comes to his hair.

He actually got it last week so he has been sporting this for a week now. After we came back from the barber it wasn’t quite right so we had to go to Mommy’s saloon to ‘get it right’. I posted his photo into my FB and everyone loved it! Everybody thought that it was Daddy’s idea but actually Aiden was the one who wanted it. He said…

Aiden: I want to shave my head on the side and leave just the center all the way back.

Me: A MoHAWK!!?

Aiden: (not knowing what is a mohawk..) Urm.. Just shave lah the sides and just hair in the center like dat.. (tracing out the shape with his hand on his head)

Me: Ya lah!! A mohawk!!  **pengsan**

I think he saw it when I was watching GLEE. Daddy on the other hand was telling me not to do it, worried how is he gonna go to school in that funky style. Actually that was the question from everybody after the “Wah!!” and then it’s, “Can meh go to school like that?”

Well… we’ll soon find out but I think we’ll have to go get it ‘toned down’ a little. Gonna get a number 1 so that it’s not so obvious (if that’s possible..) :-D

But I think he just looks TOO cool!! We took them to Ikea Smaland, wen we went to claim him and Caitlyn, I was waiting my turn to pick them up and the attendant didn’t even ask for my number and said, “Aaaa itu mohawk ya? Dengan Aiden dia… ” And everywhere we went he is turning heads.. LOL!! ;-)

Anniversary

I Still Do

Last Sunday (6/6/10) was our 7th year anniversary. There were a million and one things that I actually wanted us to do but in the end we just managed to have a quick dinner and went to No Black Tie for a show, and even that we didn’t get to stay till the end coz Greg had to work the next day. So I thought we’ll go to somewhere special for a romantic dinner so I actually spent almost the whole day looking up on the www. for somewhere to go. I did narrow it down to 3 places but still couldn’t decide till he came home from his base check that evening, that would be at around 8pm… :-| Then I saw an update from one of my friend in FB, that Rozz Ritzmann will be singing in NBT and I know that she quite good. So I thought that’s nice, we could go there after dinner.. But then my friend told me that we have to be there by 10pm for the show… Which means we had to have quite a quick dinner.

So after Greg picked me up we drove down to town and ended up in Nero Vivo (where Bijan used to be) for dinner. Luckily the food was good. Greg had a steak with Foie gras on some vinegar sauce and I had Pappardelle with lamb ragu, really enjoyed that. Even the wine that the waiter recommended was good too. We did try to take photos of the food and us at the restaurant but it was too dark, can hardly see anything. After dinner we shoot off to NBT for Rozz singing her rendition of Barbra Streisand songs. She was not too bad except I must agree with my friend that her trying to sing Barbara is a little too ambitious… But then again… it is Barbara you are trying to sing dear!! Greg was taken by surprise that we were there to see a drag queen sing Barbara… :-| I wonder what he thought we were going to watch…. I would have loved to stay, she was beginning to sing my favorites but Greg was ready to go already… :-( He has to wake up very early for work the next day. So that was our impromptu anniversary date… I noticed as the years go by, our anniversaries are getting more and more… impromptu… LOL! That’s normal rite?

So a friend ask me, “7 years… How ah?”

How ah… Like in my LO, much have changed, we have definitely changed… In fact this anniversary had me thinking quite a bit… which brought me to remember something very unpleasant that happened to us 1 year ago around this time. We were so close to not celebrating this years’ anniversary… That was a very difficult time for me. So yes, 7 years is not easy… 3 kids and all. I’m surely not the same girl that stood in the church and said “I Do”. So much of tears and laughter, so much that I have lost and gained (especially around my waist and belly, they never seem to go away). Most importantly is… “I Still Do”
