2011 Rabbit

One more day left in the year of the Tiger… I must say that I’m quite glad. It’s been a tough year for me and I would say for Greg as well… Although we managed to buy and move into our new home and the arrival of our little tigress Emme, it hasn’t been easy. So many things has happened. We’ve lost so many loved ones this year. Our maid of 4 years left and the new one ran away… It has really been a very challenging year for us as a family. Many times I’ve just really thought to myself… “Hello!! You kiddin’ me right? This is not really happening to me right?”

Well, I’m really, really hoping that the year of the cute little wabbit will be easier on me and finally give me some rest and go easy on me…

Just like Christmas… I didn’t bake up a storm of cookies. I would usually make like 5 or 6 varieties but this year I only have 2. And even that was not entirely my labour of love. My aunt and Mom came over and I kinda ‘help’ them make it and in return I have some cookies so I won’t look too bad.. :-| But this year I finally get to hang those cute little red lanterns outside my main entrance because we live in a house :-D Also.. I’m really happy I get to join my family for reunion dinner because Greg is working through eve till the second day of CNY, we already had our reunion dinner with the Tan side of the family last Sunday. ;-) So I get to have 2 reunion dinners! Yeay!!

So I really don’t think I’ll be able to get back here to wish everyone a Gong Hei Fatt Choy and wishing everyone Health, Love and a Abundant year ahead!! May all that you wish for come true and all that you worked for prosper and multiply!!

Yes!! Finally I have changed my blog header… Made 2 new ones… Was still using the old one that says ‘Mother of 2′ for the longest time… (Emme is 10 months already) So yesterday I finally just sat down and did not just one but 2 brand new headers for the new year! Also I was really inspired by the new kit from Creashens!! I’s just waaaay beyond CUTE! Check it out here. It’s called Hello Birdies and I’ve used it for one of my headers and the other one is from The Lilypad, A Little Love by velorie Wibbens and This Moment by Sahlin Studio…. All my favorite designers!!

I know.. I know.. I’ve been a real bad blogger and I think I should just stop trying and keeping a blog altogether! But you do know that every time I do have a very good excuse why I’ve neglected this space again…. I really do have good intentions to keep this up but really… lately life just has so many other plans for me and it’s really trying!! So I’m not sure I wanna dwell on this and write about it.. but what I really want to do is post all my Christmas pages with all the lurvely kits from the CatScrap designers!!!

That’s about all the pages I did for Christmas.. except for a couple that I’ll post later coz I wanna blog about it. This year Christmas was like a blur… Moved into out new house (Yes!! I’m writing from our new home in Gita Bayu) quickly got settled  (if you can call this settled) pulled together a potluck Christmas party. But it was fun! Thank goodness for the space, if not I really don’t think it would have been that fun at all. Everyone brought some goodies for the table and the most important thing was just being together.
