So to me it’s quite a state of EMERGENCY!!! The iMac is down.. no it did not crash (a Mac never crashes) Mr Ultra Cool Daddy put in a VCD, (which I will not mention where he got it from) into the drive to rip the movie (!?) and it got stuck. :-|  So now it’s in the hospital for a new drive and it freaking take a week!!!! I mean..What   gonna do for a week? Ok..I still have my MacBook (thank God) but I’ve been so used to the iMac. Initially when we first got the iMac I was quite reluctant to use it because all my ‘stuff’ is in here (MacBook) and when Greg wanted to take the laptop for night stops we transferred everything to the iMac. Now all my stuff is there and I’ve been so use to the big screen which is lovely when I do my scrapping I feel so lost without it… :-( I did try to scrap with the MacBook and I ended up with a neck and backache from hunching over to look at the screen. No good… Plus I don’t have photos here, just the old ones that was left behind and didn’t get removed. So after that one layout I kinda didn’t scrap at all..never finished another one.. I guess I just have to occupy my time with something else but the thing is once I’ve stopped for awhile, it’s quite hard to get the ball rolling again. :-|

And another thing is… Caitlyn finally started school, Montessori actually. Nothing fancy… No big school, uniforms, and even a proper playground but it’s quite alright. The school itself with the teachers which they all call ‘aunties’ are cool and very attentive. Most of the other places I’ve surveyed with that kinda personal attention and Montessori method  is very expensive with a very big class.  So since Cait is about half a year late for school, I thought she could do with some personal coaching in a small class.

How did she do?

Well, today is already her 2nd day and lovin’ it. The first day she already enjoyed herself when I left her she didn’t cry or panicked at all. No freaking out or drama.. She just said “Ok Mommy..Bye.See you later!” I was kinda expecting a little drama but no… which kinda made me feel a little ‘drama’ inside of me.. :-D Why never ask me where I’m going and all…? Humph! Well, I guess she is just bursting and ready to go to school already and watching Aiden go to school everyday kinda make her ready too. She even didn’t want her pacifier!!!

My Mom made fun of her when she was picking out a book for story time next day and my Mom asked her..

Grandma: “Got everything? What about your chut-chut and ‘chow bou’ (security blanket)?”

Caitlyn:” NO!! I go school… No ‘chut chut chow bou’… Mei Mei go school like kor kor. (Aiden)

Wah!! Just like a big girl. :-)

Today is song and dance day… They have a teacher from Muzikgarthen to come over. So…. my little show girl is in her element lah!! Song and dance is her forte!!

First day

So Caitlyn is finally in school… By right she should have started beginning this year but because I was preggars and had tons of things to handle plus Aiden being also starting Std 1 and all we decided to delay. We were also ‘shopping’ around for a school for her, we couldn’t decide on which playschool or Montessori… there were just too many things and considerations… Is it gonna be a playschool or Montessori, location (as we will be moving away from Bangsar soon) blah, blah, blah.. We didn’t want to have to change her half way…

So finally, after looking around, we actually liked quite a few but some were just too expensive, some were too fancy.. and we finally found this one that I’ve heard about from a few friends. I like that it’s small and Caitlyn will be getting lots of personal attention and they have a good reading program that can help her build a good foundation, plus they adopt the Montessori method.

On the first day.. well actually it’s wasn’t officially the first day, but I just took her to see the school and see if she like the place. I knew that she was just dying to go to school already but really didn’t expect that it will go so well.. She loved it immediately! Went straight in and played with all the toys, did some painting and played with the other kids. After I’ve met with Aunty Mary (the lady who runs the place) she suggested Caitlyn to stay for the rest of the day and I come back to get her… Just to test if she will be ok… I expected some drama from Caitlyn but boy was I wrong! She was totally ok and not only she actually allowed me to go, she just glanced at me and said “Ok, bye Mommy, see you later.” And just like that the deal was sealed. :-|

So I came back an hour later and got her enrolled… The next day, Caitlyn was up and excited to go school…with her fairy wings… :-P Sigh! I hope she is not too much for this school… *insert roll eyes here**
