Stolen

Journaling reads:

Never in my wildest dreams I ever thought of having another baby after your brother and sister… Mommy and Daddy thought that we were already so lucky to have a boy and a girl. And then you came  along… We jokingly call you our bonus edition, our little surprise sent to us from heaven. But deap down inside we scared to death if we could care for another baby. Now that you are here, with your chubby cheeks, pretty eyes, the curl of your lips when you coo… how lovely it feels when you curl your fingers to hold mine when I’m feeding you… You are just so precious, Mommy is completely blown away by you… Daddy is in awe of you, I often catch him all gooey when looking at you… What can I say? You have stolen our heart little Emme

Just a little update on Emme… She is now 2 months old… and growing in size right before our eyes. I’m wondering if she is gonna be fatty like Caitlyn was she was a baby. As it is, when we took her for her jab at 1 month old, she was already above the graph :-|

I still have not manage to get her into a fixed routine yet… Partly because (I think) it’s still kinda crazy at home still… Emme is very different from the other 2… She wants to be carried all the time when she is awake. Unlike Aiden and Caitlyn, she won’t be contented to just sit in her bassinet by herself, someone has be to constantly be with her. Even when carried… she will be squirming about! :-( Greg says that because I always give in and carry her anyway…but really.. I just cannot stand her screaming away. It just drives me nuts!!

Besides that… she is an angel. This week she is starting to coo when we sing or talk to her. Very alert too.. responds to sounds and people around her very well. A milk guzzler just like her sister (tak kalah langsung) She downs 6oz every 2-3 hours, and still need her night feeds. I’m wondering when can she do without her night feeds? Do we train her or let it happen naturally? I don’t remember what happened with the other 2? :-P Any ideas?

  1. congrats! Emme is such a beautiful baby:)

  2. Try during her days, give her some water as well, so she can get use to it. She will resist but try anyways and then before her night sleep, a little bit more milk to keep her really full for another hour or so and hopefully in time, she might get use to it too… Just a little patience and time…
