Everyday when I pick Aiden from school, I’ll ask the standard question… “How’s school today?” And he will also give me a very standard answer, “Fine.” I think it has become quite automatic already, just like how I’m getting automatic in asking him the question everyday.
One day, last week I had a not so standard answer. 
On top of the usual ‘Fine’ there was a but…
“School is fine but there’s so many things ah.. I just cannot keep it all in my head, it’s too small… So some fell out! It just fell out like dat…” :-|
How le? Suddenly I didn’t know how to react to the no so standard answer.
