So Blessed

Scrapping this LO made me think of my 2 brothers… How they have both grown up so fast, so suddenly… especially Daniel the youngest and always our little baby.  If I’m feeling this way, I’m just wondering what my Mom is feeling. Looking at this photo, speaks of a thousand things to me. How they are both SO much taller then me… each one on either side of me. In many ways they are always protective of me and always there for me. If anyone would ever get them to do anything it would be me. I think that’s why my Mom says that the both of them fear me… Well, I certainly don’t think so.. Well, I wouldn’t exactly call it fear though.. I think it’s respect and love.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen my brother Di Yao. He is working in Singapore for a while now. And just recently he is also attending night classes to get his Diploma. In the past I’m always bailing him out of something kind of trouble or up to some kind of trouble with him.. :-D We’ve always been very tight. I know that I support his decision to work in Singapore, he been there for more then 2 years now.. I miss him still and more then anything. Every time when he leaves or when I left him after visiting him in Singapore I’ll be holding back tears. But ever since he’s been there he’s been doing great. I’m so proud of him, he has really grown up.

The youngest, the little baby… Even he has come a long way. Always the little baby in the house now is working. In fact I see so little of him now because he is always on to some project or some sort.. No more moping around at home, playing video games. Hmm.. It is a weird feeling. But I must say that he still has a long, long way to go.. But that’s alright.. He is after all.. still a baby… ;-)

This LO is made with Kristin’s new kit Up In The Air. It’s it lovely? Well, it’s not her usual style of bright colors.. But she really nailed it with this one. The colors and everything about it is so dreamy and airy..

Here is a preview of  the kit.

Up In The Air

Nice? Well hop on over to her store to pick it up! If you don’t want to buy the whole kit, you can buy just the papers or elements on it’s own. But that’s just in Gotta Pixel.

Earth Hour… Will you do something?

Even Aiden knows that it’s Earth Hour on the 28th, this coming Saturday and he is very excited about it. After he came back from school on Monday he is constantly talking about it. I thought he is excited about the idea of turning off all the lights and a chance to light up some candles and play with torch lights… But no. When I quizzed him further about the matter he gave me a briefing on what the earth is going through and what it’s doing to the whales and polar bears and his other furry friends… And he ended with, “SO, Mommy.. we all must do our part to turn off the lights on the 28 my lau shi (teacher) said!” Ofcourse he is excited about the candles and the whole jazz.. but I told him that  best we use less of those things too.

So, even Aiden is excited about saving Earth, our only home. What will you do about it? This is a serious matter now. Notice how the weather has changed for all of us. It’s really so unpredictable now. First time this year we had rain during Chinese New Year. It never rains during CNY.. it’s suppose to be the hottest time of the year for us Malaysian. You may call it our ‘summer’ although we technically don’t experience the 4 seasons. And it has not stopped raining ever since… What is it telling us?

So this coming Saturday… Turn off your lights!!! (or anything else that uses electricity) If you are not doing anything else for ‘Her’ (Mother Nature) just do this for one hour…
