She is back

My maid is finally back yesterday. Yeah!! :-) Actually it has taken so long I thought she’ll never come back and I was kinda getting use to not having her around… It’s not that I don’t need her but I guess I was kinda getting so numb and was just getting by from day to day. It has been almost 2 months that she has been gone.

This morning was such a nice feeling waking up to a clean house! No toys on the floor (which I have given up picking up after about 2 weeks of doing so). No dirty dishes to wash before I go about getting things ready for the day (I just hate waking up to a pile of dirty dishes!) The floor is mopped… sigh! How nice!  And I actually had time to catch up on my scrapping without feeling guilty or a nagging voice in my head that there’s some house chores to do. Which is just about the right time… As you all notice I’m posting again, which means my connection/web hosting problem is also solved! A good tome for me to catch up on all the down time. There’s just too many things to update, and pretty important ones too! 

So yes… I guess you can say that I’m back!!

Connection problem…

If you all are wondering why I have not been updating.. It’s because I’m having connection problem!!! I have not been able to load a page properly for over a week now and it’s driving me CRAZY!!! :-( I’m not sure if it’s the web hosting provider or with Streamyx. But I think it’s the web hosting provider… Sigh! I have so many post dated post!! So it’s not that there is nothing happening… I just cannot post. Actually I don’t even know if I’m able to post this entry! :-|
So just hang in there.. I’m trying to sort this out ok.. So don’t go away!!
I’m also thinking of changing the web hosting provider. Any suggestions?

Goodbye 2008

Ah.. the last day in the year 2008… I feel like I am just beginning to inch back into life as I knew it before Christmas going at about 90 km/h, during Christmas,the week leading up towards was like 160 km/h!! :-| I was SO busy… it was just MAD. Just as I am beginning to breathe normally again, it’s the eve of the New Year. Before the reality of a new year has set in and all the glitters and confetti is swept away… we’ll be celebrating Chinese New Year. Again, we’ll be busy cooking and celebrating… 

Sitting down here writing this post I try to remember and think of what have I done for the past year? It seems so fast! Where has the year gone? Did I achieve the goals that I have set for myself for the year? Hmmm.. where’s the list? :-P I don’t know… All I can think of that I have done the whole year was all about the kids. Which isn’t a bad thing at all… just a reflection. I guess it’s pretty normal when you are a stay-at-home-Mom. 

So now I still have tonight to think about what’s gonna be on my list for next year. One thing that I’m gonna do diffrently is to usher in the new year with the kids and not partying the night away with ‘the girls’. :-)
