I’m part of a CT (creative team) again!! This time for Kristin Aagard. I’m really excited to be on her team, she has really cute stuff and I can’t wait to scrap with her kits. Infact I’ve already done 2 LOs tonight and I’m totally loving it! Do check out her blog here. And you can buy her kits from Plain Digital Wrapper. At the moment you can snag her Charmed Pink page kit for only $5. That’s a great deal…the kit is jammed pack with goodies and the charm alpha is really cool and unique…and it’s PINK!!!  Ahem…My favorite color..*Oh! My heart!!** ;-) These are the 2 LOs I’ve made using Kristin’s page kits…

The next Lo is made using the Bubble Bubble element kit. When I saw the element kit, I knew I had the perfect kit to scrap this photo of Caitlyn playing on on a beach towel while we were blowing bubbles for her..

The Dark Knight

Yesterday Greg, Aaron and I went to watch the must anticipated, must talked about movie (some say of the year) The Dark Knight. And I must say it has surpass all the hype surrounding this movie, everything that was said is spot on if not more. There’s just so many layers to this movie and I definitely recommend watching it more then once. Everything in this movie is two thumbs up, from the cast, the acting, the set, the costumes, the make up is fabulous.

Christian Bale who plays our Cape Crusader has done a tremendous job, he is my all time favorite Batman. Heath Ledger…the star of the show (well, for me anyway) is just phenomenal!!! He stole the show man!! He is scary, psychotic, evil but at the same time…acts as a mirror for Batman. “Are we so different?”

For my AW friends… I swear to you there are parts of this movie that will bring back some memories… AND if you have done Mastery… Hmm… even more interesting.

Of course being a Mom, after watching a movie like this…I thought, ‘Is this movie suitable for Aiden?’ NOT!!! In fact, I think children below the age of 15 should not watch this movie. It is not your regular Batman/ Robin comic book story. The story line is dark and broody… can be quite disturbing to small children. The Joker alone is enough to give them nightmares. So, no, I really don’t think it’s a good idea.

But that said… I REALLY, REALLY think it’s a movie NOT to be missed. Heath Ledger will be remembered for his phenomenal acting in this movie.

I know I do. I LOVE fonts. I think different fonts really ‘make’ a Lo and sets the mood too. I’ll spend SO much time after doing my LO to put in the perfect font for my title and my journalling. Sometimes I think I spend too much time on this it’s quite stupid actually. But all said, I just love fonts and doodling. Oh yes!! Doodles…  and flourishes and swirls too. I remember back in my school days that’s what I be doing at my desk while the teacher is rambling on and on…

I think in these few weeks I’ve downloaded more then 30 fonts into my laptop! I’m just so not a fan of the ones that comes standard… *yawn* Today, while hunting for freebies I found this site that has some really cool fonts, especially if you are looking for something original hand written ones. Visit Kevin & Amanda‘s site for some of these cool ones.. I know I’ve downloaded at least  20 something I think… ;-)
