Haven’t been blogging lately.. Nothing much is happening and I’ve also been having difficulties to write. A couple of times I sat infront of my laptop and…nothing comes to my mind. But tonight I thought..well, what the heck I better start or I’ll never get to it. So just bare with me if I’m just rambling on. Mybe I’ll tell you bout what I’ve been up to.

Well… I’ve been shopping around for hosting services as I want to get my own so that I can do all the cool stuff and have more freedom in changing the look of my blog. Also I wish to put my scrap layouts on my blog so that I don’t have to redirect you guys to my blogspot page to view my layouts like now. Seems like there’s alot that I can’t do with my wordpress blog as this is the free one. So while I’m doing that I’ve also been cracking my head to find a perfect domain name… with the help of Uncle Paul,we have actually come up with a few cool ones and had a great laughs while at it. No, I haven’t bought one yet so…still thinking la.. At the moment I’m actually considering Blue Host (#1 choice), Host Gator(#2) And IX Host, third choice. Still need to do some more homework on it.

On the home front, also, nothing much really. Caitlyn is still wobbling around…she has this Dumbo syndrome. Haha! What is Dumbo Syndrome? She still refuse to walk on her own unassisted, she has to hold onto something while taking gingerly steps forward. If we don’t hold her or if there’s nothing around her which she can hang onto she’ll just stand there screaming (very drama) or she’ll plonk her butt down. So, the other day she was walking along the coffee table and she picked up two pieces of paper… I guess she must have forgotten or just didn’t realize it that her hands has actually left the table and she walked quite a distance holding onto a piece of paper in each hand! Just like Dumbo. Well..I guess whatever works. I’ve tried all kinds of ways to encourage her to walk on her own just sort of dangling a carrot in front of her, only maybe I’ll have to use her beloved Chut-Chut (pacifier) or her ‘chow bow’ (smelly blanket)

Aiden is ok.. No more additional injuries or bites (thank goodness) He has been quite good during this holiday actually. Poor fellow hasn’t gone anywhere during this holiday, not even to Mid Valley or 1 Utama because Mommy cannot handle the both of them on my own. So we have been home bodies this holiday. He has finished all his homework and played alot of video games. I’ve also bought some DVDs for him to watch, instead of Disney Playhouse all the time. Even Caitlyn enjoyed the movies. They both loved Alvin and the Chipmunks…must be the funny voices and songs. I thought that he’ll enjoy Water Horse but that didn’t even hold his attention for more then 15 minutes. Sigh!! Maybe it’s the bad copy (haha..now you all know where I bought it from) or maybe its the Irish accent that he didn’t quite understand. So that’s Aide’s holiday.

Daddy has been working ever since he got back from Kota Kinabalu. So he hasn’t had time to be with the kids at all. I know Caitlyn misses him a lot. This morning she just wanted him to carry her all the time and she wouldn’t let Daddy out of her sight. Tomorrow he is working again. So that will leave him no more time to do things with Aiden during his holidays… sigh!

I on the other hand have been busy, busy with the kids at home and since I’ve declared scrapping week I have been a good girl and I have done quite a few layouts. Learned a few new cool tricks too! Check it out in my other blog at blogspot. You can click on the link in my blogroll at the side of the page.

So that’s all.. Wow! Not bad for somebody with nothing much to write eh? Well.. I guess I just have to start tapping away on my keyboard then you won’t be able to stop me…Hehe!!

Today Caitlyn started walking on her own! For the pass week or so we have been trying to get her to walk on her own but she’ll just sit down when we let go of her hands. We have been guiding her along by holding her hands or holding her under her armpits but she was still not very confident to take her first step. But today she did it…all of a sudden just like that! My brother Di-yao was playing with her on the floor, she got really excited and took 3 steps towards him. I don’t know who was more excited then…my brother or her…or me? After that, all of us were gathered around her and encouraging her to do it again. And being the true show-off that she is…she did! Taking more steps this time, and now that she has done it. There’s no stopping her now…she wants to ‘catch’ her uncle the whole evening! So cute!I don’t know if it’s my brother or the Gymboree party she attended in the morning that got her going. She was invited to a party in Gymboree and she absolutely loved it! Even her cough didn’t stop her at all (her cough is quite bad) She took to the music, singing and dancing and the other children there immediately. I really should find a way to take her for the classes. It’s just that, what am I gonna do with Aiden when I take her for her class?Anyway… so Caitlyn started walking at 1year 8 days, I remember Aiden started at 1 year and 11 days at 1 Utama. He too… just got to his feet and started walking. And he never wanted to be carried after that or allowed us put our hands behind him to guide, just in case he tumbles. He’ll get so annoyed and slap our hands away and says “Ah! Ah!”I’m so glad that I’m lucky enough to be there to watch the both of them take their first step. With Caitlyn I’m pretty much with her all the time but Aiden on the other hand, I missed a few of his first times as I was still flying when he was a baby and later on had a rather demanding job when he was a toddler. Sigh! Well… I guess I can’t complain now then. Prices to pay… I called Daddy to break the news to him but he was too grogy to be excited I guess. He is still in KK and just got back from flight when I called. So this time round it’s Daddy who missed it. I guess when he comes back Caitlyn will be able to walk to him by then.Click Here To See Video

Yup! The country has spoken. Like what Pak Lah said, we should except the results. And to the politicians, it’s time to do some soul searching on what has happened. I guess people are more educated and more daring to speak their mind, in this case it has been translated into a vote. And this time it is loud and clear. It was a shocking defeat for veteran ministers (including my daddy’s ex boss) In my area, Lembah Pantai, KeADIlan (Nur Izzah) has won. So let’s see, what will the future hold for us. Many people are still trying to digest the results and no doubt feel some uncertainty…of course, it’s a big change. But sometimes change can be for the better.
