I Cannot Continue Like This!!

 Just like I promised in my previous post on Caitlyn’s party. I’ll tell you about what happen to Aiden on the day of the party. The drama actually started early in the morning when I got a phone call from my in laws telling me that Aiden’s eye is very swollen till he can’t open his eyes. And I could hear him whimpering at the background and the Disney Playhouse Channel blarring. So I know that that is usually their remedy and it has failed. My father in law sounded like the world will end soon and I can hear my MIL trying to pacify Aiden. Sounds really serious…And I was told that all this actually started the night before itself. My MIL asked me which doctor do I usually bring him to, but that won’t happen as all these specialist doctors don’t open on weekends and even if they do on Saturdays…it’s 7am! So, I suggested to send him to a hospital but my MIL had to rush off to teach a class. My Mil wanted me to go over to send him to the doctor, but that would be difficult as I still had Caitlyn with me and she was already screaming from being woken up by the phone. So,at at the end they sent Aiden home, I called my emergency back-up which is my mother to come over.When Aiden arrived home I saw how swollen his eye was…must be really painful (poor guy) Plus my son is a drama king too (guess where he got it from?) He wouldn’t open his eyes, not even if I turned on his video games *wah! very serious..no joke* He didn’t want to eat anything,didn’t want anything. Finally he fell asleep, must have been exhausted from not sleeping the night before. Nothing much to do now but to let him rest and wait for Daddy his hero to come home.When daddy arrived home, Aiden was taken to the eye hospital. I was already at The Apartment to receive our guest for mei-mei’s (little sister) party. And that’s why they only manage to join us much, much later after that. And he arrived with my white sunnies on..*so cute* Ha! Ha! I can say that now it’s all over. He looks like Chris Brown. All the photos has him in my white sunnies..We’ll remember this everytime we see Caitlyn’s 1 year old photos… *aiyo!*What did the doctor say?Well, she said that he was most likely to have been bitten by some insect or some insect must have flown in to his eye causing the irritation and inflamed. So, he was given some antibiotics and eye drops. Aiden did not open his eye for 2 whole days! On the second day he told my mom, “I cannot continue like this Po-Po!” All crying and whimpering like a puppy the whole day. I don’t know if it was really that painful…but that boy sure is one big drama king!Only this morning that he opened his eye and was back to business as usual… jumping around and terrorising his sister. So I know that he is ok now. Took him back for a follow up in the afternoon. All is well, the swelling has subside but Aiden can’t read pass the 4th line for his eye test.So we have to go back in 3 weeks time as he might need lenses if he still can’t read pass the 4th line. Oh no!! Another thing to worry about. Aiden with glasses…how is he going to manage that?
