Happy Birthday Caitlyn!! Today is Caitlyn’s birthday. 1 year ago this time(on the 28th), I was still lying in the damn birthing room in Pantai Hospital breaking my back! (Hey! I swear to you those ‘beds’ are not at all comfortable, ask any mother they’ll tell you that) At this time I was still counting my contractions which was fading away with each passing hour and any hope of giving birth that night. I knew it just wasn’t happening. The doctor told me to get some rest and save my energy for tomorrow, but how can I? I’ve been waiting since 6pm! At that point I was just so disappointed and discouraged already. So anyway, the next morning, we decided to ‘help’ the situation a little bit. The doctor pricked my water bag and put me on the drip to speed things up. The rest of the morning was a blur…drugs and all…and it was PAIN all the way!! Like I said, whatever that I didn’t go through when I had Aiden (he was a breeze, he really loves his mommy) I paid it back 100 times with Caitlyn. Princess through and through…she really knows how to give it to mommy. DRAMA all the way!
I can’t believe how fast 1 year has passed. Even as I’m sending out the invitations everyone cannot believe it’s been a year already. They felt like it was just a few months ago that they came for her full moon party. But believe it or not our little girl is one years old today and cute as a button!
Just a couple of days ago that she is starting to stand unassisted and when she does, she’ll clap her hands for approval and for you to say “Clever Girl!!!” Actually, I was hoping that she will kinda start walking by by her birthday. Who knows…she might just surprise us tomorrow at the party. Daddy says that she’s standing due to pressure from me. (!) Like he is not excited about it! (Duh!) From the moment she was born she has had her daddy wrapped around her little finger like a knot!
Caitlyn is so different from Aiden when he was 1. Maybe it’s because she has the brother to learn from..while Aiden was just constantly surrounded by adults ( very serious) At 1 years old she can do so many things,learns fast (especially all the tricks), has a temper like mommy, a 100% princess, knows how and who’s buttons to push… She is such a cutie.
I’ve bought a little pink dress for her to wear tomorrow. I hope she’ll enjoy the party. I’ve invited all the people that she loves and loves her. This day is for her.
